The project aims to build and develop an internationally competitive development node for energy efficiency. Test and demonstration environments focusing on property, construction and housing as well as a process for competitive business development for SMEs in the area will be built and developed. The target group is primarily supplier companies in environmental technology and research environments with a focus on environmental and climate change. The project is divided into work packs where the partners have responsibility for their own areas. Data structure will be created for a virtual testbed environment linked to existing TOD environments. Adaptation of the environment for product and service development so that they become attractive in a global market as well as the development of a concept to communicate energy efficiency solutions for marketing purposes and to achieve behavioural change. The business community actively participates in the project, partly by providing environments such as Studsvik and ABB’s incubator-like initiative SynerLeap. The test beds should also be open for industry to test and verify new products and processes. The results will lay the foundation for an international platform for energy efficiency and renewal, as well as a system for co-production with strong regional and national impact. The collaboration that is built up in the project will stand on its own after the project period ends with SMEs’ growth opportunities for the eyes.
