Energy Centre – a dynamic meeting place for innovation, skills supply and regional development

The Energy Centre project includes creating a broad meeting place for community actors. The meeting place should include innovation and system solutions and include, among other things, open showroom and lab, demonstrations and a broad competence provision. It is about making solutions visible and making available solutions to increase the capacity of a broad target group to increase the pace of energy efficiency and low-carbon economy. The overall objective is that actors in Eastern Sweden have a strong capacity to implement measures within buildings, transport and the public sector that lead to reduced carbon dioxide emissions, increased energy efficiency and sustainable growth. The project goal is that SMEs, the public sector and citizens of the region work together and act for a common sustainable energy transition. The business community is part of the business community because they can have the opportunity to show and test their parts in showroom etc. After the project period, there is a dynamic and creative meeting place for energy issues at Väster in Eskilstuna for a broad target group in different sectors of society.
