The overall goal of the project is that small companies in the region should have strengthened their competitiveness. The project “consultant support for small companies in Kronoberg” aims to create a new business support that complements the business support available today. The project goal is for more companies in the region to demand and gain access to external expertise for business development. In order to reach out to and get more companies to demand external competence, the support should be completely digital and require minimal efforts for application and follow-up. The activities consist primarily of advice to companies through consultants, and marketing tailored to the target group. The project aims to offer all companies with F tax certificates with 0-49 employees up to six hours of free advice from an external consultant in four areas. The areas are "Market & Sales", "Economy & Law“,”It & Digitalisation“and”Organisation & Leadership" The project will collaborate with other projects in the region aimed at companies as well as the municipalities’ business managers and the business promotion system. The starting point is that through its design the project will enable and attract groups of entrepreneurs who normally do not apply for and receive business support, i.e. smaller companies in general, but also specifically women and foreign-born women and men who rarely take part in existing systems. An expected result is a broadening of the type of company that gets access to corporate support. approximately 600 companies are expected to receive advice through the project. In the long term, the project is expected to create consulting entrepreneurs who continue to demand external expertise, resulting in increased competitiveness and employment.
