Business Capacity Development in Swedish Lapland

The overall goal of the project is to create long-term sustainable growth for SMEs in the region. The aim of the project is to increase the competitiveness of small and medium-sized companies in the hospitality industry through measures to strengthen capacity. The project objective shall in turn be achieved through the following sub-goals: —More growing export mature companies in the hospitality industry with more attractive and sustainable products. Increased awareness of the destination and increased distribution of companies’ products, on prioritised geographical and thematic markets. This is done through the main activities and sub-activities: Business Development -Regional network and coordination business development -Regional ASSL coordination (concept known as Artic Spirit in Swedish Lapland) -ASSL-program -Local coaching linked to ASSL programmes and company development -Academic linkage, innovation platform and optimised project benefits (additional application) Market development -Regional network and coordination market development – Thematic and/or geographical market groups Leisure will continue to develop in the field of Leisure and/or geographical market development.
