The project Regional Nodes Phase 2 aims to get SMEs (SMF) to work with energy efficiency measures to streamline their energy use and strengthen competitiveness. The regional nodes, run by the 15 regional Energy Offices, will, within the framework of the project, work strategically with different methods to inform about the support available, including Support for Energy Survey (ECS). They further serve as a comprehensive support to companies, so that the energy survey does not become an individual effort, but that the companies implement the proposals for measures provided by an energy survey. The nodes will serve as a source of knowledge for energy issues at a regional level and have an ongoing contact with the regional business sector in particular on energy efficiency issues. The project has learned from phase 1, where the main lesson is how the energy offices reach the companies. In phase 2, the intensity will increase towards the target group, and the focus on more outreach activities will be leading. Increased intensity is also characterised by high individual adaptation. The application for the Regional Nodes phase 2 has been drawn up in dialogue with the Energy Offices.
