Social development through Secure IoT and Open Data (SSiO)

The project is a collaborative project between Luleå University of Technology, BI Nordic AB, Ductus Deve-lopment AB, Sokigo AB and CGI Sverige AB. The aim of the project is to develop a functioning platform for the establishment of public sector services (such as the creation of smart cities/regions) that manage various thematic areas. Working means that it should be able to handle security, contain a data management mode that processes data into information, is expanded as needed for increased capacity and obtain a service developer module that enables an increased number of companies to assimilate and understand how services can be developed in a simplified way in a complex environment. The opportunity to develop services should apply to companies as well as individuals who want to test and evaluate new ideas, they intend to create a city/region-wide ‘maker space’ that catalyses the development of new unique services. The SSIO will focus on the technical areas: ¿IoT security. ¿Machine learning. Manage and combine data from different sources such as IoT devices and open data from databa-sees. ¿New interaction forms to share information. ¿Further development of and extended use of the platform from Sense Smart Region. ¿Applications for public activities.
