Overall goals, project goals and milestones The project’s goal is to strengthen the competitiveness of small and medium-sized companies by attracting new investments, creating consequences of investments already made and disseminating acquired experiences. To achieve this goal, the project has set milestones: 1.Create international consequential investments at Scandinavian Mountains Airport 2.Dalarna’s business sector should have benefited from Brexit and other relevant events abroad in 3.Stimulate positive consequences of large corporate establishments in the region’s SME 4.Develop a county-wide system where municipalities in collaboration with local industry attract foreign direct investments in 5. The project captures opportunities, supports packaging offers, opens doors and supports the process. How regional business is to participate in the implementation The project’s activities are directed towards SMEs within the region’s areas of strength, but will also support and develop growing industries. By disseminating knowledge about establishment and investment promotion work in collaboration with other business-promoting actors, the project aims to achieve results. The project will conduct learning seminars, thematic workshops and study trips for business promoters, SMEs and regional leadership.
