Preliminary study of a low-carbon economy based on the circular economy in SME

Linear economy is the current norm in business: produce, consume, throw. To cope with the climate challenges, the increasing consumption of raw materials and an increasing population, business needs to think and act more according to the circle: Raw material limitation, design, production, distribution, consumption, recycling, reuse. This saves energy resources and promotes renewable energy use. The feasibility study will investigate, map and stimulate the involvement of SMEs in CE interventions based on a low-carbon economy. The aim is for the preparatory work to lead to an implementation effort in Eastern Sweden (Öms). The feasibility study also involves establishing contacts with entrepreneurs and industry organisations and promoting companies within Öms.
