Ways2Taste

The project is a collaborative project between the University of Borås, Chalmers University of Technology and Sustainable Development West and aims to create a platform for fungal-based product innovations. The University of Borås is with its environment “Swedish Centre for Resource Recovery (scrr)” world leader and has researched the ability of fungi to convert various waste products into ethanol, animal feed and climate-smart proteins for many years. Based on the waste hierarchy, the project will, together with regional companies, develop new methods and processes that facilitate product recovery of waste streams and by-products.
