The pre-study’s goal is to clarify the needs of the tourism industry in Jämtland Härjedalen regarding future competence provision. Within the framework of the pre-study, the visitor industry will map the professions and career paths and programmes focusing on the hospitality industry, and how these can be made more attractive or if there is something missing that needs to be supplemented for future challenges. Furthermore, we will investigate how future leadership in the industry may need to be and how to work with recruitment, matching and integration within the hospitality industry. They will work together with the business community with interviews, questionnaires and workshops to achieve the above objectives for the feasibility study. The expected goal is that the lessons learned from the feasibility study will result in an implementation project.
