Smaller destinations and companies outside a destination company need to gain increased knowledge and expertise in digital marketing communication in order to better manage today’s communication needs and become more competitive even in a foreign market. The project is based on initiatives aimed directly at companies within the hospitality industry. Through workshops and training sessions in both groups and with individual companies, the project will increase knowledge and understanding of the development of market communication with a focus on the digital part. Furthermore, the project will fund efforts to increase knowledge of trend monitoring for increased understanding of customer and market. The project will also promote the development of new forms of work and business networks. The project will work with horizontal criteria with the Value Guide drawn up in Project Tourism 2030 as a starting point. The project is expected to result in 40 companies that receive support to introduce new products and 10 new jobs.
