Combined Mobility in Blekinge

Combined mobility in Blekinge aims to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from passenger transport in Blekinge by, with behavioural impact and technical aids, making citizens travel more sustainable and have positive effects on the environment. By working for increased knowledge and understanding of the behaviour, values and attitudes of residents, different activities will be carried out in order to provide increased opportunities to choose and combine different modes of transport. Mapping and analysis of the behaviour of residents as well as communication and information efforts will be carried out within the project. New solutions to be able to meet the needs of residents and to combine different modes of transport will facilitate the use of public transport. A digital mobile service developed within the project will provide a better whole-travel perspective and provide citizens with better cycling opportunities. The regional business community will participate in various activities and information initiatives and evaluations. The project also aims to provide more groups in society with increased mobility and accessibility to the labour market and services and provide socio-economically positive effects as well as increased growth as a result. The technical tool will have been tested and fully developed to continue to be used after the end of the project. The project will contribute to easier and more sustainable commuting opportunities in the county, link the labour market region together and also contribute to better public health through reduced exhaust gases and increased physical activity
