It builds on the experiences and networks from the Materials Business Center project and the aim is to promote the emergence of a dynamic ecosystem of established industry, start-up companies and research institutes in Skåne – Blekinge. To succeed, the project will collaborate with relevant actors and resources in the region such as Lund University, MAX IV, Malmö University, Science Village Scandinavia, Invest in Skåne, Open Labs, Kluster initiatives Packbridge, Livsmedelsakademien and Mobile Heights. Needs, challenges and concrete material-related problems in established industry in the region as well as nationally and at European level will connect needs owners with potential suppliers and other solutions resources in the form of start-ups, entrepreneurs or researchers. The project will provide concrete support to startups through business advice with pilot projects and tests as well as a special collaboration with Malmö University.
