The aim is to carry out tailor-made and efficient activities at larger workplaces in different parts of Västerbotten, to increase the proportion of service matters, collaboration and work travel that takes place with muscle power, public transport, shared vehicles or digitally, and to increase the proportion of work that takes place with distance presence where possible. This is done for the overall goals of climate, air, competence, urban environment, costs, public health, gender equality and the development of activities. The project goal, which is achieved by achieving the intermediate goals, is that employees in Västerbotten make a greater share of service matters, collaboration and work trips with muscle power, public transport, shared vehicles or digitally, and a greater proportion of work with distance presence whenever possible. The milestones are achieved through workplace-specific packages of activities: 1. More employees have to follow an established travel policy that takes into account the benefits of muscle power, public transport, shared vehicles and digital collaboration. 2. Better, embedded internal structures in workplaces for effective compliance with business travel policy and digital collaboration. 3. Better, anchored internal structures in workplaces to facilitate and encourage workers with muscle power, public transport and shared vehicles and distance work. 4. Increased awareness of the size of the various benefits with travel freedom and with work and services with muscle power, public transport and shared vehicles among managements and employees in Västerbotten. 5. Increased knowledge about the internal and external structures available for digital collaboration and for work and services with muscle power, public transport and shared vehicles. 6. Improvements in the external structures for travellers with muscle power, public transport and shared vehicles in Västerbotten (g/c-roads snow clearing, comfort, time keeping etc) 7. While the proportion of digital collaboration and travel with muscle power, public transport and shared vehicles increases among men and women, differences between genders are equalised. The primary target group is the individuals. The companies/workplaces are secondary target groups, but their involvement and participation are irreplaceable. Evaluation and learning will be an integral part of the work – the way of working where activities are selected based on a current situation analysis and workplace-specific goals require continuous evaluation. Internal and external communication are, for several reasons, important tools for good goal fulfilment in this complex and partly innovative project. The project is a continuation of the feasibility study HAR.
