The project is based on the development areas identified in the Future Sun in Eastern Central Sweden Phase 1. The primary target group for the project’s efforts is small and medium-sized companies in Eastern Sweden that want to grow by investing in solar power as a business idea, increasing their competitiveness by reducing their electricity costs or investing in solar power as part of marketing or as a brand-building effort. The goal of the project is to promote investments among SMEs by clearing knowledge barriers about, for example, regulations and lack of knowledge about the market. In phase 2 we will work more clearly on structural impact in order to achieve long-term results and in this case use horizontal criteria as leverage. Work more in the industry, among other things, to reach untapped potential, for example by reaching industries where there are many entrepreneurship women or people with a foreign background. In order to encourage new, innovative business ideas that include solar power and in subrepresented sectors in the solar power expansion, the project will make use of initiatives in the form of advisory and consultation support to the companies.
