The participating county administrative boards, together with Sweden’s haulage companies, will develop existing labelling system for freight transport to include climate and energy issues, Fair Transport 2.0. The project will develop tools that support bus and haulage companies in the process of mapping and developing measures for more efficient energy use and transition to renewable fuels. The project will actively support companies in the haulage and bus industry to implement measures that reduce their climate impact and increase their competitiveness. In order for the labeling system to have an impact, the project will carry out activities to increase the competence of sustainable transport in the procurement of transport services. The project will work consistently for sustainability aspects to be used as leverage in energy and climate work.
