The aim of the project is to develop Verksamt.se/warmland based on the new working methods and services that will be developed by business promoters and companies to provide a more equal and inclusive way of working. Contribute to increased efficiency in the promotion system through increased accessibility for idea carriers and SMEs. Regional Export Collaboration Värmland (RES) will be developed to reach the companies with the support and help they need to dare to step out into international markets. Overall objectives: Increase the competitiveness of SMEs, also internationally, and increase the number of start-ups through further development of the regional business promotion system within the framework of Verksamt Värmland. Project objectives: More companies will be started and more SMEs will start exporting or expanding their markets internationally. Sub-targets: 1.New and existing SMEs get contacts, knowledge and financing to venture into international markets. 2.More ideas and SMEs have access to contacts, knowledge and financing to start and run long-term competitive companies. 3.More idea carriers and SMEs find the right help at the right time via verksamt.se/varmland. The project should have a particular focus on increasing the system’s efficacy for target groups that the system today does not reach to the same extent, e.g. foreign-born men and women, domestic-born women, women and men with disabilities and people in rural areas. Contribute to increased sustainability and energy and climate goals. Activities: Develop RES Värmland with new value-creating services for internationalisation. Intersectional analysis of the existing target groups and services of promotion actors. Develop and implement new ways of working and offerings for increased gender equality and diversity. Attitude-influenced efforts with gender equality and diversity perspectives. Develop Internet-based advisory services. Monitor internet-based communication from a gender equality and diversity perspective. The project has a strong connection to the regional business community, idea carriers, entrepreneurs and SMEs both as a direct and indirect target group for the project. SMEs participate in idea generation and user testing in the development of new services. New services will be piloted at SMEs before they are launched. Expected results at the end of the project: More companies have started and more SMEs have started to export or have expanded their markets. A RES Värmland with three focus areas helps companies with export and internationalisation, innovations and establishments. New, simple methods and tools will integrate the diversity and equality perspective into the work processes. The benefits of SMEs: It is easier to monitor the offerings of the system and to get customised support. Should be able to access more services and better information via the internet. More people should feel as a target group and seek support for their growth, development, internationalisation and energy and climate efficiency. The project’s impact on sustainability criteria: New ways of working and new services have been developed to reach underrepresented target groups among SMEs. Information on energy and climate-promoting support and, if necessary, new Internet-based services are available at verksamt.se/varmland. More SMEs are international and have started processes that make the company, its customers and/or suppliers more climate-smart. New ways of working, which better match the target groups’ needs. The actors have knowledge of working user-oriented for value-creating advice and services. Better methodology for gender mainstreaming and rural security. Expected long term effects: Increased number of start-ups. An effective promotion system, which acts according to the individual needs of the company. Travel Värmland is an integrated function in the support system. An increased proportion of Internet-based advisory processes has been developed based on intersectional target group analyses. More climate-smart companies that have been internationalised.Developed advisory processes that support SMEs in their work with climate and energy efficiency.
