Companies’ future demands for efficient and fast logistics solutions that support both digital and physical distribution channels are crucial and perhaps the most important success factor for a competitive industry. The project is aimed primarily at the companies and organisations affected by the rapid digitalisation of trade and logistics processes, which changes their business logic. Marketing and sales processes have been clearly affected by digitalisation, and for several industries, it has led to significant changes in the competitive and market situation. The increased trade, mainly in digital channels through e-commerce, has in turn brought demands on changing logistics solutions, which affect all the companies that sell goods. The project will work extensively in the field of digital business and logistics to find new solutions to technical, business, sustainable and administrative challenges. Jönköping County has, with its excellent geographical location and a focus on logistics and a strong entrepreneurship, excellent conditions for developing industry companies’ business models and for creating new companies in the field of digital business and logistics. Strong collaboration between industry, academia and the public sector will take place within the framework of the project, which strengthens the county to become a leader in the field of digital business and logistics. The goal at the end of the project is that the county’s small and medium-sized companies have strengthened their competitiveness through tested, sustainable digital solutions and that completely new businesses have been formed.
