The overall goal of the project is to contribute to a clear meal cultural identity will help to increase the market value of local raw materials and locally produced, attract tourism to the region and contribute to increased national and international exports of products and services produced in Västerbotten. Through its activities, the project will contribute to two of the strategic areas of the national food strategy: consumer and market as well as knowledge and innovation as well as to the overall goal of the regional food strategy in Västerbotten: more food will be produced in Västerbotten. The objectives of the project will be achieved through efforts in the areas of concept, context and product development and where knowledge transfer to the target group companies in gastronomy and food processing through workshops, seminars and open labs.
