The project will lead to more property owners in Öms reducing their climate emissions. The project builds on experiences from ongoing projects. The project will work with sustainability issues from a broader perspective, with outreach activities and customised communication. The idea is that more property owners will implement energy efficiency measures. The project will contribute to increased digitisation, more environmentally friendly material choices and knowledge about how buildings can serve society. Activities are primarily aimed at SMEs in the form of property owners. The regional business community will participate in the project as knowledge spreaders and examples, but also provide in-depth insight into possible obstacles and problems. Furthermore, the business community will act as a reference group, review the documentation and contribute to the project’s goal fulfilment. The project will result in more property owners implementing resource-efficient measures and setting more far-reaching requirements for buildings to have a low environmental and climate footprint and be better equipped for future changes. Real estate networks should have been established in Östergötland and Mälardalen. By actively integrating work with gender equality in the project, the goals of the project are expected to be achieved and contribute to further economic growth.
