Creative North

The project aims to create a supporting function for creative small and medium-sized companies in cultural and creative industries in northern Sweden. This is done by creating a cohesive network in the form of a cluster. The project is expected to lead to a larger, attractive and vibrant cluster funded by the members themselves. In the long run, it is expected to lead to new and growing companies, which contribute to growth and jobs in the region. The goal of the project is to increase growth among small and medium-sized companies in creative industries in northern Sweden. Results of the project in the long term are expected to be: —Increased employment in KKN, then primarily in SMEs. Increased innovation power in the region. More jobs. A broader and more diversified labour market. “Increased innovation support that reaches more companies in the region The cluster and the project are working to strengthen the innovation power of companies and develop strategies to secure the companies’ competence needs in the long term through development and innovation programmes for management, project managers and creators.
