StreamSam

The StreamSam project brings together stakeholders from the municipality, region, academia and the private sector with the aim of developing innovative digital tools with a focus on short processing times for building permits, increased quality of GIS data and to increase opportunities for transparency and influence in the planning processes for women and men with different conditions and needs. The aim of the StreamSam project is to streamline the urban planning process in the Region and in the municipality of Kalmar with the support of innovative digital solutions, with focus on shortening the processing times for building permits, raising the quality of GIS data and increasing opportunities for transparency and influence in the planning processes for women and men with different conditions and needs. The primary target group is the case officer at SBK who can ultimately perform a more efficient job and increase the level of service and quality of the municipality’s residents and entrepreneurs. The secondary target group is the business sector of the region (e.g. builders and existing property owners), municipal residents and municipal officials. In the long term, the project is expected to contribute to: increase digital maturity among employees and the municipality’s users/customers, regardless of gender, background and disability; facilitate new construction, new establishments and occupancy; and improve the conditions for innovation development among the county’s IT companies. Clients and applicants of men and women should feel that it is easy to choose Kalmar to establish oneself in as an entrepreneur and accommodation.
