Zero

The project “Zero” will strengthen Gotland’s startups innovation and competitiveness. This is done through Science Park Gotland integrating new working methods for the development processes undergoing startups. The working methods will strengthen startups development of sustainable business models based on Agenda 2030 and the climate challenge. Today, few startups have knowledge of the market’s requirements for long-term sustainable products and services and how sustainable business models can strengthen their product/service. The project intends to take advantage of the growth potential available for startups that can meet market requirements. Cooperation will take place with stakeholders for sustainability and business development locally, regionally and nationally as well as with companies on the island. Startups will have access to test beds and prototype development for the development of products/services as well as to international networks for the launch of their products/services. The project is expected to lead to the incubator having well integrated smart processes, methods and tools within sustainability, which in turn has strengthened the competitiveness of startups. In the long term, it is expected that Gotland companies will spend more resources on offering the market products/services that help to meet Agenda 2030. This in turn increases regional competitiveness for products/services from Gotland.
