The DigiBusiness 2.0 project aims to become a regional player in digitalisation and contribute development in companies and organisations in the region by establishing the knowledge centre that has begun. In Projekt DigiBusiness, we also want participating companies and organisations to have an understanding of the impact/effects of their own operations on sustainability as well as the importance of their own competitiveness and profitability. Project DigiBusiness started working with corporate networks, which we also want to further develop in DigiBusiness 2.0 so that companies/organisations can share experiences and gain new knowledge to develop. Through a regional idea reception, project managers will act as a guide/ball board to companies/organisations that have questions of a digital nature. In order to succeed in the project’s objective, strategic communication is crucial. The project will therefore work with targeted communication plans with communication activities that are evaluated, revised and renewed each year. All activities in DigiBusiness 2.0 contribute to development in companies/organisations in the region. Examples of activities include test environments, a regional idea reception where companies/organisations can get advice and tips on digitalisation, further development of corporate networks and activities in sustainability. The activities in DigiBusiness 2.0 have been developed using feedback from companies and organisations in Project DigiBusiness together with external evaluators who also interviewed participating companies in Project DigiBusiness and are described in more detail during activities. The project further develops the started knowledge centre within Digital Business and the Digital Business cluster. Kalmar Science Park also believes that the project will have created long-term and sustainable effects among companies and organisations in Kalmar County when it comes to following (and preferably leading) developments in digitalisation/digital business and how to utilise it in the best way to maximise its growth. The knowledge centre and cluster with its networks and activities has a content that is at the forefront of digital business/it and helps to maintain nationally and internationally viable companies.
