The project will improve the conditions for digital maturity for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMF) and the public sector in southern Sweden. The project will establish a Digital Innovation Hub (dih) that will support and inspire SMEs and the public sector to increase digitalisation. The project will help companies and the public sector to increase their use of digital technology for business development purposes, increase access to the right skills, develop test environments and create a cross-sectoral collaborative platform that increases digitisation in southern Sweden. Eight main activities will be carried out, including creating a physical and digital environment, offering test opportunities, supporting the business community with developed tools, verifying the hub’s content and tools, skills development, bridge between industry and the education sector with focus on digitalisation, and securing future operation of the hub. Part of the project is to prepare to become a European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH). The project is carried out in collaboration with actors from industry, municipalities, universities and research institutes such as RISE.
