The Covid-19 crisis poses new challenges for small and medium-sized companies (SMF) in Gävleborg. Many companies are forced into transition and increased preparedness to maintain their competitiveness. Through the project, SMEs will get help with support and advice in its transition and development work to become more innovative, more digitised and more sustainable and to strengthen its competitiveness. Companies and innovation-promoting actors work together in the project to jointly strengthen the transformation capacity of enterprises. In addition, the project partners will cooperate with other actors in the corporate promotion and innovation support system to increase SMEs’ opportunities to take advantage of the available support that will increase their chances of surviving the crisis. In order to strengthen learning in Northern Central Sweden (NMS), a learning platform will be established for the exchange of experiences and analyses on the effects of the Covid-19 crisis in the different regions. The aim is to be stronger forward by having a common approach to analyses so that they become comparable.
