The purpose of the Jämtland Härjedalen framework project is to mitigate the negative effects of the corona crisis on small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) in Jämtland County. In order to respond to the effects of the corona pandemic, the project will contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of small and medium-sized companies and shifting to new market conditions. The framework project will consist of flexibility during the project period to be able to design support that SME calls for throughout the county. The support can be paid as an investment cheque that can be applied for by companies with operations throughout Jämtland County in all sectors but with a priority on companies from a sparse perspective. Region Jämtland Härjedalen intends to allocate SEK 24.3 million for this temporary support form that is searchable until 30 September 2021. The support intends to go to companies that had a healthy economy and growth potential before the crisis and are deemed to be able to resume operations with good business potential after the crisis. The support includes both soft and hard investments with the hope and ambition that this support for companies will be strengthened from the corona pandemic. Evaluation and follow-up intends to procure a service for this with the hope of doing so in collaboration with Region Västernorrland. If this should not be the case, the project believes that there are the necessary resources within the current budget. Regarding the design, it will be on project managers to design the assignment and the procurement. The project has relatively good experience from this linked to their other framework projects that they will use, linked to the more specific efforts that the project in this project will want to follow. The project also has important background information to be based on linked to the industry surveys that are now conducting regularly, and has done previously linked to covid-19, which the project intends to start from linked to the type of companies that need to be accessed by the support, industry affiliation, the need for support that has arisen in connection with covid-19.
