Companies’ sustainable transition in Kronoberg County due to the Corona crisis

The Coronapandemic has hit the small and medium-sized companies in Kronoberg County hard, which has given an increased need for support and advice for a sustainable (environmental, economic, social) transition. The reason varies according to industry and companies’ unique conditions but can be summarised as: Companies have a declining demand in their current business – Companies feel a worry and uncertainty in how long the crisis will be, which can create a paralysis effect, – Companies don't know what society at large and the individual market looks after the coronapandemic, but realise that it will have changed. The overall goal of the project is that more small and medium-sized companies in Kronoberg County will have strengthened their competitiveness and re-added their operations by reflecting the market’s future opportunities in sustainability aspects (environmental, economic and social). This project will create conditions for Almi to offer companies new knowledge, tools, processes in areas relating to sustainable transition in the Covid-19 pandemic track, something that is currently not part of Almi’s basic operations.
