Culture and tourism for increased attractiveness

The overall goal of the project is to create a sustainable co-operation model for strengthened competitiveness within the cluster culture, which contributes to a long-term change within the public regional promoter structure. The goal of the project is to, in addition to creating and strengthening a collaborative model for the cluster culture, contribute to long-term change in the public sector. The project will take height in order for the public structure to better manage companies in cultural and creative industries and the hospitality industry. This means that the project will also help to respond to the changes that need to be made in municipalities and regions, and in the longer term contribute to a model that can be used nationally. Increased business benefits and competitiveness within KKN, the tourism industry and surrounding industry provide increased social benefits and increased number of jobs. The project will increase the degree of self-financing within the KKN and the tourism industry, increase knowledge of these industries in the public sector, to further demonstrate the value creation of culture, which strengthens the attractiveness of municipalities and regions. As many actors in both the tourism industry and the cultural and creative industries have a relatively low turnover and profitability, there are great opportunities for these actors and companies to develop in these areas. A major challenge is self-financing and financial endurance in the business. The project strengthens the competitiveness of companies and the attractiveness of the region.
