The aim of the feasibility study is to prepare for “Little meets Stor”, an implementation project aimed at increasing innovation in the Western Swedish economy by initiating and facilitating co-creative innovation processes where small and large companies work together. This should be achieved by developing, testing and optimising a general process for how to match between small and large companies. The target group in an implementation project is primarily a company in the civil engineering sector. Small businesses have innovative ideas, are fast-moving and flexible. Large companies have resources, strategies and marketing channels. Co-creation innovation between small and large companies is still unusual due to fundamental differences in culture, strategies, organizational structures, etc. The differences can be summarised in the collective term “asymmetric”. The feasibility study will start the work to significantly increase the presence and quality of these collaborations, thereby realising a hitherto untapped potential for innovation and economic development in the region.
