The overall goal of the project is to strengthen Agroväst’s capacity as a cluster engine for the green industries in West Sweden, and to increase collaboration between research and entrepreneurs in the green industries. Agroväst will establish three new research and innovation programmes in the areas of Garden, Entrepreneurship and Soil and Water Management. The project will gather entrepreneurs, researchers and representatives from the public sector and initiate activities for development and knowledge transfer. The primary target group of the project is small and medium-sized enterprises in the green industries. The secondary target group is, for example, industry organisations, suppliers of technology and input goods, as well as institutes, universities and colleges. The expected effect is increased capacity at Agroväst and companies have increased their sustainability and ability to recover from various disturbances, such as climate change and closed borders.
