Reference_Aid_programme: SA.41471(2015/X) Purpose_public_aid: Article 25 of Regulation (EC) No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty (OJ Urz. EU L 187/1 of 26.06.2014). The project aims to create a technological solution based on NDT measurements, in particular the acoustic emission method and georadar testing. The use of these methods will allow for the location and identification of potential damage on the gas infrastructure. For this purpose, neural networks and hierarchical, non-hierarchical statistical methods of BIG DATA analysis will be used to create a self-recognisable base of reference signals, identifying the generated signals of destructive processes. The proposed solution is aimed at incorporating the so-called “EU” strategy into the EU’s strategy. Smart GIRD in accordance with the TEN-E Regulation. The result of the project will be a new technology and service enabling the gas network manager to operate the gas network safely and economically in an optimal way by: Cost-EFECTIVE AND SAFETY EXPLOATATION-The aim is to optimise the operation of the gas infrastructure and increase the efficiency of work by increasing the level of automation, monitoring, safety and metering in real time. It is planned to use ‘smart’ tools for the self-diagnosis of gas pipelines and fittings, external and intelligent gas network location markers. Intelligent use of gas fuels – Intelligent use of gaseous fuels will enable customers to optimise their energy consumption and allow active participation in the energy market. Our method can be used to test the safety and technical condition of components of smart gas grids. [...]
