Preparation of the project on Eurogrant planned for implementation under the LIFE 2020 sub-programme for the environment.

SA 42799(2015/X) The project concerns an application for Eurogrant entitled: “Mitigating the effects of PM10 and PM2.5 air pollution in urban areas by enriching green infrastructure with epiphytic lichens, algae and aphids on "Green Spatial Absorbers (ZAPs)" under the EU LIFE 2020 Programme – Sub-programme for Environment. http://nfosigw.gov.pl/oferta-finansowania/srodki-zagraniczne/instrument-finansowy-life/aktualnosci/art,358,kalendarium-wydarzen-zwiazanych-z-naborem-wnioskow-life-2020.html Project scope: — preparation of a feasibility study including the presentation of the results of pre-design studies of substrates for lichens and models of Green Spatial absorbers constituting ‘proof of concept’ for LIFE project applications – activities involving the organisation of meetings related to the preparation of the project, including contacts with a selected national partner – W. Szafer PAS Institute in Krakow and abroad – Center for Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Changes University of Lisbon, Portugal, – preparation of a two-step application for the LIFE 2020 Programme; stage I: “concept notebook” and possible Phase II full application, as required by the organiser of the competition under the EU Programme, – revision of the LIFE 2020 application based on possible comments from EU reviewers, including consultations with national and foreign partners, search for additional partners to complete the application if necessary – actions taken in relation to the presentation of the application before the organiser of the LIFE Programme competition after initial approval of the concept,
