Reference number_aid scheme: ___ SA.56361(2020/X) – Marcel Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology of the Polish Academy of Sciences; SA.56360(2020/X) – Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Intended use of public_assistance:_art. 26 The main objective of the project is to create a National Centre for Advanced Imaging Analysis in Biological and Biomedical Sciences. It is planned to create an advanced IT infrastructure for data collection and processing and a state-of-the-art integrated platform for multidimensional imaging of biological processes that determine both the proper functioning of the body and underlying civilisation diseases. The implementation of the project planned for 2020-2023 will include the construction of three distributed laboratories located at the Marcel Nenecki Institute of Experimental Biology and the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences: 1. Laboratory of Biomedical and Biomedical Imaging using High Pass Techniques; 2. Laboratory for Imaging Structures and Functions of Cells and Wovens with High Resolution Techniques; 3. Laboratory for Modelling and Visualisation of Dynamics of Complex Biological Processes. The research infrastructure of the Project will be a nationwide reference centre for biological imaging and will promote the exchange of knowledge and provide IT support to other research centres and industrial partners from Poland and abroad. The recipients of the project’s results will be primarily scientific and research centres and economic entities.
