Construction of an electric smart grid in the city of Poznań, through modernisation and reconstruction of lines and stations of SN and NN, automation of lines and stations as a result of the application of remote control and electrical security automation, including short-circuit current indicators

The aim of the project is to ensure an efficient and technically and economically sustainable energy system with low losses and a high level of quality and security of supply and security. The implementation of the project and the achievement of the direct objective will result in the following milestones, both in the area of interest of the Applicant and beyond: • The development of electricity infrastructure that provides certainty of power supply. • Improve the technical condition of electricity infrastructure. • Decrease in the SAIDI ratio in the Rataje estate in Poznań – shortening of power outages. • Decrease in estimated annual greenhouse gas emissions. • Enabling the connection of new renewable energy sources – The applicant does not specify the extent to which the grid connectivity, including RES, will be increased in detail. However, it is clear that there will be an increase in connectivity, which is directly due to the nature of the SMART GRID network. The introduction of more advanced communication and automation systems in energy systems – through the creation of smart grids – will help stabilise supply using renewable energy and action to combat climate change. This will directly contribute to the development potential of RES. • Improving the investment attractiveness of the city of Poznań – by improving the image of municipalities as favourable development of new technologies, protecting the environment and with high quality energy supply planning. • Increasing the level of sustainable management of the country’s natural resources – by increasing the ability of RES generators to connect to the electricity grid, it will be possible to manage the country’s natural resources more sustainably, in particular with coal and lignite. • Ensuring energy security for the economy – thanks to the implementation of the project it will be possible to further disperse energy sources
