The main objective of the project is to launch an installation producing electricity and heat in high-efficiency cogeneration from renewable energy sources. Achieving the target will enable positive environmental impact by providing significant quantified energy savings and enabling an increase in the use of high-efficiency cogeneration in Poland and an increase in the share of RES in the country’s energy balance. The installation of high-efficiency cogeneration will be located on a plot with registration number 436 located within 0021 Northern Greater Poland, the commune of Wieleń, the county of Czernkowsko-trzcianecki, the Wielkopolska Voivodeship (the less developed region). The implementation of the project aims to achieve the following objectives: — installation of equipment with a total electrical capacity of 1,00 MWel; — -//- thermal 4,15 MWth; — annual electricity production of 27 360,00 GJ; — -//- heat of 113 544.00 GJ; — reduction of CO2 emissions by 24 633.71 tonnes of CO2 per year by replacing conventionally produced electricity and heat from RES; — supply of heat and electricity to an operating MMJ plant producing briquettes; — management of wood waste from the production plant; — increasing the country’s energy security and diversifying energy sources. Duration of the project: 01.06.2020-30.09.2021 Total project value: 32 853 300.00 zł Net value: PLN 26 710 000.00 Eligible costs: PLN 26 700 000.00 Ineligible costs (VAT and promotion): PLN 6 153 300.00 Co-financing: PLN 14 357 302,50 Own contribution: PLN 18 495 997.50 Sources of financing own contribution: related party loan – Dimplex Import-Export GmbH. As a result of the implementation of the project, the following indicators will be achieved: Product: — Number of electricity and heat generation units built or upgraded within cogeneration – 1 piece — -//- in the context of cogeneration with RES – 1 pcs. — Additional capacity to produce ene
