This investment consists of the construction of the Kędzierzyn-Koźla ring road along national road No 40 with the parameters of the PG class road with a total length of 14.33 km. The investment is carried out in a project and build system. The investment runs on the north side of Kędzierzyn-Koźle. The beginning of the planned Kędzierzyn-Koźla ring road is located in km 0+ 000 on the existing national road no. 40 (ul. Alley of the Home Army). The end of the planned ring road and its connection to the existing national road 40 (ul. Pyskowicka) is located in km 14+ 330. This investment includes a single-lane section with two (1x2) or three (1x2+ 1) lanes. The intersections designed as part of this investment will enable safe communication and distribution of traffic on the rest of the road network and the operation of the adjacent area. In the case of the intersections of the main route with crossroads, without the possibility of exiting, collision-free solutions in the form of viaducts were used. The planned road route runs entirely along a new track mainly through forest and agricultural areas. Only the beginning of the ring road located in km 70+ 050,00 of the existing 40 national road is located in undeveloped areas, designated in the Local Spatial Development Plan Kędzierzyn-Koźla as transport areas, which are adjacent to residential areas on the southern side and the Kłodnica river and plot gardens on the north side.
