Supporting the functioning and improvement of the ZSK for the use of its solutions to achieve the goals of the country’s development strategy

The project focuses on the direct support of system stakeholders in the implementation of the ZSK(Z1), the development and development of the next Sectoral Qualification Framework and the forecasting of the need for qualifications and competences (Z2), as well as on research and development work for decision-makers and stakeholders to improve the ISK as a tool for policy-making for lifelong learning (Z3). An important aspect of the project activities is also the promotion of the ZSK among stakeholders and users of the system (Z4). The aim of the project is to improve the functioning of the ZSK on a day-to-day basis, to develop cooperation with sectoral stakeholders, to provide data and formulate recommendations for the purposes of conducting policies in the field of qualifications and lifelong learning at national and regional level, to adapt the ZSK to the socio-economic environment, as well as to develop a new model of support for the implementation of the ZSK on the basis of new technologies, and to build up the human resources of the system, with particular emphasis on the area of validation. The implementation of the project will contribute to the implementation of the overarching idea of creating new opportunities to develop and confirm the skills needed to strengthen social capital, economic growth and improve the quality of life, which is the goal of the ZSU. Support for the development of market qualifications will increase employers’ participation in the development and use of skills, and the consolidation of stakeholders around the ISK is a mechanism for inter-ministerial and cross-sectoral cooperation and coordination on skills development. Forecasting the need for skills and competences and research and development activities in this area allow for the development of an effective system for diagnosing information about this demand. The promotion of validation of learning outcomes supports the development and dissemination of a learning culture geared to active and continuous development of skills and equal opportunities for access to development and the use of skills.
