The aim of the project is to develop a sustainable and universal model of cooperation between secondary schools training in the profession of freight forwarder and warehouse-logistics and universities and employers, including: a) elaboration of an example curriculum for a given profession which takes into account the cooperation of vocational and higher education schools in its implementation, b) the development of a sample organisation of classes for students by teachers using the teaching base of a vocational school or higher education, c) a proposal for activities to familiarise vocational students and teachers with new techniques/technologies used in the sector/professional, d) the development of examples of training for vocational education teachers. The starting point for the work will be the initial analysis of teachers of vocational and higher education institutions carried out before joining the project and an in-depth analysis, which is the first stage of the project’s work. The model developed on this basis will primarily take into account the reduction of the diagnosed barriers and shortcomings faced by in-house schools and employers. The models developed (with the participation of universities, vocational schools and employers’ associations – Project Partners) will be piloted. On the basis of these pilots, possible adjustments and additions will be made after evaluation. The final versions of the models will be reviewed by university experts and will then be published in the public domain indicated by the IP PO KED. The model will be presented at the seminar to schools so that they can implement, in whole or in part, the solutions developed in their facilities. This will allow for sustainable, systemic cooperation between vocational and tertiary schools and better labour market relevance of education and training systems, facilitating the transition from education to employment and strengthening vocational education and training systems and their quality. The project will be implemented from November 2020 to October 2022.
