Preparation of draft spatial plans for Polish maritime areas – internal waters of ports in the area of competence of the Director of the Maritime Office in Słupsk

The project concerns the development of draft spatial plans for Polish maritime areas with environmental impact forecasts – the internal waters of ports in the area of competence of the Director of the Maritime Office in Słupsk, taken over as of 01.04.2020 by the Director of the Maritime Office in Gdynia (internal sea waters of the ports of Ustce, Łeba and Rowach) and the Director of the Maritime Office in Szczecin (internal sea waters of ports in Kołobrzeg, Darłowie, Dźwirzyna) as a result of the liquidation of the Maritime Office in Słupsk. Draft plans will be drawn up in accordance with the Polish Maritime Areas and Maritime Administration Act of 21 March 1991 (Dz. U, 2019, item. 2169; as amended) and in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister for Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation and the Minister for Infrastructure and Construction of 17 May 2017 on the required scope of spatial plans for internal waters, territorial sea and exclusive economic zone (Journal of Laws U. of 2017, item. 1052). Environmental impact forecasts will be prepared for the draft plans, in accordance with the requirements of the Act of 3 October 2008 on the provision of information on the environment and its protection, public participation in environmental protection and environmental impact assessments (Journal of Laws U of 2020, item. 283; as amended). The draft plans and forecasts will be subject to public consultation. It is planned to organise 2 consultation meetings for each of the areas covered by the draft plan, including one for the so-called public discussion in accordance with the Polish Maritime Areas and Maritime Administration Act.
