The main objective of the project, divided into two paths – the MINI path from 01.01.2020 to 30.6.2020 and the MIDI path from 01.07.2020 to 30.09.2023 (KDnr6), is to create a comprehensive programme to increase the accessibility of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw to the needs of OzN. The implementation of the actions will be carried out in a comprehensive manner and will cover the six main areas of accessibility of the University.The first area is the creation of the UCSW unit – the Office for Affairs. Persons with disabilities together with hiring specialists in it – auxiliary staff. The second area are architectural facilities, mainly consisting of increasing the availability of buildings most demanding – Foreign Languages Study building no. 4 by building a driveway to the entrance and building no. 17 WPiA by installing an external elevator and adapting toilets to the needs of OzN.The third area is the inclusion of modern supporting technologies by providing specialised licenses and IT equipment, which will increase the comfort of studying and participation in academic life of students with disabilities. The fourth area is the introduction of procedures governing the implementation of the policy of accessibility of the university, equal opportunities, non-discrimination and the implementation of the resources of rational adaptations, which will increase the comfort of studying and participation in the academic life of students with disabilities. The training will be addressed to 410 people – BON employees and University management staff, teaching and administrative staff.
