The aim of the project is to eliminate barriers in access to higher education at the UPJPII by implementing organisational changes and improving the awareness and competence of the staff of the university in the field of disability, implementation of actions aimed at ensuring communication accessibility by the university, adaptation to the needs of persons with disabilities (in the further part of the application of the ON) IT tools, procedures and regulations relating to the teaching process and implementation of activities in the field of architectural accessibility for (ON). In the framework of the project, activities will be carried out including: (KD3) the development and conduct of training courses and training courses on the implementation of training courses and consultations on the improvement of knowledge and competence of the administrative staff of the University of Poland, including the number of students on the needs of the educational staff and the development and conduct of training courses with regard to the education and training. In 2017, 2065 students studied at the university, including 53 people with a confirmed disability – motor auditory, visual. In 2018, 2179 people studied at the university, including 69 people with a confirmed disability. The number of people with disabilities increased by 16 people during the year. The activities planned under the project reflect the long-term policy of the Applicant to enable persons with disabilities to study and thus achieve professional, economic and full participation in society on an equal footing with the rights of persons with disabilities.
