The applicant is MWSLiT in Wrocław, a university constantly expanding its teaching offer. The growing proportion of graduates entering the labour market, where the presence of people from OzN, the elderly and socially excluded people, makes it necessary to adapt the compulsory curricula to logistics and transport at MWSLiT in Wrocław taking into account universal design. The involvement of the university in the project for diagnosing the situation of persons with disabilities (surveys conducted by the OzN Representative) influenced the decision on the implementation of this project by the Applicant. The aim of the project is to improve competences and to shape knowledge about universal design of at least 800 students and at least 6 representatives of teaching staff. As part of the project, teaching staff will take part in a series of specialised training courses. In addition, the Applicant, through the implementation of the project, will comprehensively develop and implement three subjects in the program of studies in logistics and transport at full and non-stationary studies, also in English at MWSLiT in Wrocław in the years 2020-2023. Implemented activities implemented as part of the project ensure high quality education and equip graduates with competences in the field of universal design. The applicant strives to ensure the best possible quality of project implementation and therefore invited experts-entity acting for persons with disabilities Foundation Polska Bez Barriers to cooperate.
