The project is the implementation of a nationwide program for the prevention of lymphatic oedema after treatment of breast cancer at the level of the regional module in the south-eastern macroregion of Świętokrzyskie, Małopolskie, Podkarpackie.Lymphatic oedema affects between 24 % and 49 %, and up to 60 % (depending on the criteria used) of women after treatment of ALND and from 4 % to 28 % of women after the biopsy of the guard node.
