Prevention of lymphatic oedema after breast cancer treatment in Pomorskie, Warmińsko-Mazurskie, Kujawsko-Pomeranian Voivodeships

The program Prevention of lymphatic oedema after treatment of breast cancer in Pomorskie, Warmińsko-Mazurskie, Kujawsko-Pomeranian Voivodeships is directed to women of working age with recognised breast cancer qualified for surgical treatment, including multi-morbidity, during and after chemotherapy, with complications of surgical and supplementary treatment. In order to reduce by 10 % the risk of lymphatic oedema in women after breast cancer treatment by education and rehabilitation, and to improve or maintain physical performance during its implementation. The area of activity will cover the northern region (Pomeranian Voivodeship, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Warmińsko-Mazurskie) (access criterion 6).An integral part of the programme will be psychological and dietary counselling for target group patients. Project implementation period 01.01.2021 — 30.06.2023r.The activities carried out in the project by the project promoter are consistent with the scope of the health policy programme, i.e. the objectives of the project are in line with the objectives of the preventive programme, the target group is in accordance with the description of the addressees of the programme, the scope of medical research is in line with the scope of the preventive programme (access criterion 3) The applicant will provide services in the afternoon and evening (at least 3 working days) and selected weekends (at least 1 Saturday per month).(access criterion 4) The support will be covered by 775 patients. converging substantively financed under the regional operational programme (access criterion No5).UCK will establish cooperation/partnership with at least 5 medical entities with an agreement with the NFZ OW for the provision of healthcare services in the field of therapeutic rehabilitation provided as part of outpatient physiotherapy or day unit conditions such as systemic rehabilitation (access criterion 8).
