The object of the project is to conduct research and development by InventionMed S.A. aimed at an innovative medical dermatology simulator on a global scale, which will allow for a very effective, fast and effective learning of students and doctors. This will be possible by applying the innovative solution of dual immersion in virtual reality (VR) technology. The planned R & D works include:1. Development of a technical design of the solution, creation of a medical database scheme with algorithms (industrial research).2. Development of dual immersion technology with the use of available technologies, e.g. 3d printing. Studies on the level of obtaining faithful imitation of dermatological diseases and their subsequent treatment (industrial research).3. Development of realistic imitation of skin deformations derived from immersion interaction (industrial research).4. Development of prototype asset models and gameplay functionalities (industrial research).5. Testing the pilot solution in operational conditions (industrial research).After the R & D work carried out, the company will implement product innovation for its business, i.e. it will start the production of a medical simulator using dual immersion technology and will offer training systems for medical universities and clinics. The innovative dual immersion technology developed by the Applicant will focus on solving the main problem in medical simulators, where so far it has not been possible to combine the realistic virtual environment with the impact of the touch sense. Developed as part of the R & D work, the innovative medical simulator will be a new product on a global scale offered by the Applicant.
