The project entitled “Expansion of Al.Jana Paul II in Włocławek in the category of voivodship road” is in accordance with Kujawsko-Pomeranian plan for the cohesion of road and rail transport.Al.Jana Paweł II and the section of ul.Strzelecka are located within the boundaries of admin.M.Włocławek-voivodeship kuj.-pom.,district of M.Włocławek, the Municipality of Włocławek.Al.Jana Paul II is the main transport axis of the Michelin estate with the city and the connection of Włocławek to the surrounding towns.On this road there is transit traffic.The investment consists of expansion from the borders of the city of Al. John Paul II, i.e. on the section from km 0+ 000 to km 2 + 080 with a section of ul. Shooter for a long time. 27 m and reconstruction of the bicycle road.Al.Jana Paweł II is a road with a voivodeship road and has a class of P and GP roads (main accelerated traffic and main road), whereas Sttrzelecka Street is a municipal category road and has a class of L (local) road. Construction works on the preceding section will include, among others, reconstruction and extension of roadways and pavements, construction of roundabouts and central islands,reconstruction of bus bays,building of access to the property and reconstruction of the bicycle road.In addition, it is planned to cut vertical and horizontal markings and assemble BRD equipment,reconstruction of lighting with replacement of luminaires for energy-saving and green area of the adjacent area,i.e. cutting of trees and shrubs,substitute planting and execution of herb.Subst.technical parameters of the rebuilt road: Road-G class,Category of traffic KR 5,Railway width 7.0 m,Wearing layer SMA 8 (45/80-55)-gr.4 cm,loading capacity-115 kN/axis.The project is the second stage of a larger project, which is the reconstruction of the provincial road.The first stage includes the reconstruction of the bicycle road on the section from km 0+ 100 to km 1+ 300 and from km 3+ 130 to km 4+ 760, where M.Włocławek obtained additional funds from the ERDF. The implementation of the project will help to improve the safety of communication conditions in the area of its development and the living conditions of residents and users of adjacent areas.
