The object of the project is the reconstruction with the extension of DW 254 from km 13+ 280 to km 22+ 400. This section is the second stage of the Brzoza – Barcin section indicated in the Kujawsko-Pomeranian Road and Rail Transport Cohesion Plan 2014-2020. The project is implemented in the formula “design and build” The scope of activities includes, among others: reinforcement of the ground floor, removal of the humus layer, earthworks, demolition of existing road surfaces, construction of new pavement structures, reinforcement of the surface structure to load 115 kN/axle, construction of groundsides reinforced with mechanically stabilised aggregates stabilised at a width of 0,5 m, renovation of existing culverts and construction of new culverts, reconstruction and construction of intersections with change of geometry, correction of side inlets and new traffic organisation, reconstruction and construction of autob bays, construction of acoustic screens, reconstruction and construction of pavements, construction of bicycle paths, construction of exits, installation of steel protective barriers, horizontal and vertical markings, protection and reconstruction of existing foreign equipment, construction/reconstruction of illumination system, construction/reconstruction of drainage system and others, environmental protection – crossings for animals, protective and guiding fences and other elements resulting from environmental decision. Finishing and cleaning works both in and outside the road lane on adjacent plots – damaged by the Contractor during the execution of the works. The material scope of the investment confirms that the project will have a positive impact on safety on the roads of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship by improving technical conditions and the use of BRD equipment.The main technical parameters of DW No 254:- road class “G” (construction and extension.), class “Z” with the consent of the Ordering Party;- section 1/2 (wide lane 3.5 m)- min. KR5;- load 115 kN/axis.Investment will improve links between the regional road network of Kuj.-Pom. with the national road network and TEN-T (Motorway A1 through 25 and 10/S10).
