“I am going to kindergarten” – increasing the number of places in the Municipal Kindergarten “Tarpno” and facilitating access to specialised assistance

Project implemented in the period 01.01.2020-31.08.2021 in the municipality of Grudziądz. The main objective of the project is to equalise the educational opportunities of 78 pre-school children living in the Municipality of Grudziądz by participating in forms of support for pre-school education (classes within the curriculum, additional classes), creating 45 pre-school places and improving the knowledge and skills of 5 teachers in the period 01.01.2020-31.08.2021The activities will be possible by creating 45 new pre-school places and taking 78 children into additional activities. The project envisages the implementation of classes in accordance with the MEN curriculum, additional classes, i.e. pedagogical therapy, sociotherapy, speech therapies, correction and compensation classes, sensory integration therapy, psychologist classes. The main indicators planned to be achieved:-Number of pre-school places co-financed in the programme-45 pcs.,-Number of children included in the programme with additional activities increasing their educational chances in pre-school education-78 people,-Number of teachers supported in the programme-5 persons,-Number of teachers who obtained qualifications or acquired competences after leaving the programme-5 people.The applicant will ensure the sustainability of the newly created pre-school places within the project from the date of completion of the project for at least 2 years, i.e. from 01.09.2021-31.08.2023. As part of the project, new places of pre-school education will be created, the offer of kindergartens will be extended to include additional classes increasing the educational opportunities of children, compensating for the diagnosed deficits. The qualifications of teachers in the field of special pedagogy will be improved. Thanks to the implementation of the project, the availability of public pre-school education in the municipality of Grudziądz will be increased, which plays an extremely important role in the educational and socialisation process of children.
