“Support of technical and flood rescue services in the municipalities of Bytom Odrzański, Szczaniec, Sulęcin, Drezdenko, Kostrzyn nad Odra, Nowe Miasteczko, Szprotawa and Otyń”

The aim of the project is to improve fire and flood safety through investments in the field of retrofitting of rescue units and flood protection infrastructure, including: G.Bytom Oder: Vehicle with specialised equipment for the elimination of environmental hazards and water rescue, fire-fighting car (up to 17 tonnes); Water scooter with transport trailer and red rescue platform; G. Sulęcin: Medium-sized firefighting fire-fighting vehicle with water rescue equipment; G. Szprotawa: 2 medium-sized rescue and firefighting vehicles with water rescue equipment; 2 Integrated Alarm and Civil Protection Systems; G. New Town: Medium-sized rescue – fire-extinguishing car; G. Otyń: Heavy-duty rescue – fire-fighting car; G. Drezdenko: Medium-sized rescue and firefighting car, including technical and water rescue equipment; G. Szczaniec – Light rescue car with equipment for technical and medical rescue; M. Kostrzyn nad Oder – a light special water rescue car with specialised equipment. Target groups: Residents of partner and.lubuskie municipalities, personnel of TSO units of partner municipalities, authorities of partner municipalities and in.lubuskie Service for crisis management and protection of centers. The main objective of the project is to improve the effectiveness of prevention of events that endanger the environment, the lives and property of residents and the elimination of their effects in the area of partner and.lubuskie municipalities. Specific objectives: Improving the ability to undertake efficient fire, water and technical rescue activities (including in response to flood, fire and other hazards) Reduce response time to existing flood, fire and other sudden events and disasters in the partner municipalities and the region Improving the rescue equipment of the TSO units of partner municipalities, including those located in the National Rescue and Fire Service
